I chose this photo because to me it challenges our idea that we have complete freedoms as citizens of the United States is a fact to most of us.  Our right to freedom of speech is one of our most cherished rights.  This image to me challenges that idea.  This young man, not much older than any of us in the room, took a stand and was attracted by the system for it.  When discussing freedoms we are reminded that we only have these rights when the government deems it appropriate.  Which in essence means we have no freedoms at all.
